I had a new battery put in my old iPhone 4 I'm not sure if I should put a new simcard in it. Or take a sim out of one of my other phones. I don't do phone tech, I find it confusing.

There's no need to change the sim card unless you are having problems with it disley, besides you would get a new phone number if you change the sim and that can be a real hassle telling everyone you have a new phone number. Bet it feels good having a new battery though...!

If your sim breaks goto your local phone isp shop and get a new sim with same number. If no shop ring em up, there is always a way to transfer old number to new sim.
I put new batteries in iPhone 5’s turn em back to like new.
