Good old spaghetti tonight, well not actually spaghetti but those tube things instead for a change. With a special twist as well, the neighbour gave me a couple of chilli capsicums to try telling me they weren't to hot. Anyway he was right they are just right, I put a whole one in all chopped up and it was delicious, just enough to give you that little bit of heat then it subsided straight away ready for the next mouthful. I'll have to plant some me thinks...!

For the last few weeks I've been cooking my staple tucker, steak and veggies, no chips, just an assortment of steamed veggies. All covered in red wine gravy. I marinate a steak in red wine and eat it the next day, with lots of veggies. To make it more interesting I use the wine its been marinating in to make gravy, very tasty.

I always tuck into the veggies before starting to eat the meat, we only have chicken, fish or beef these days and the occasional bit of ham on a pizza, used to love lamb but went off it years ago for some reason.
